About "Born on the 5th of July":

Exit Music Group officially launched in January of 2008. Exit Music Group is a fresh and unique organization, whose primary goal is to bring a broad range of creativity to music, art, and live performance by couple TALENT with opportunity. At EXIT, we are aware of the vast number of gifted musicians/artists that never get the opportunity to showcase their talents.  By establishing a strong fan base and continuing our promotion for upcoming events, we provide the necessary venue for the world to DISCOVER untapped or ignored talent.  EXIT Music Group is an innovative company focused on coining new ways to make local music/art accessible to the public. We are all about viewing “ART” and expanding minds with music and live performance. Bringing people together is our passion and our consistent focus as we cultivate CREATIVITY.  The body of EXIT is composed of EXIT festivals, EXIT productions, bands, artists, fashion, and artist development. July 5th 2008 EXIT Music Festival @ Waterloo Park (located at 403 E. 15th St.) will showcase an authentic taste of Austin through live music, art, performance, dancing, as well as food and beverages in the nature of “Keep Austin Weird”.
